A little bit about this site

This site is independently owned and operated. Founded in 2010, Antivirusoffers.com.au began as an adventure into the Australian software industry, helping Aussie’s to find and compare internet security offers from some of the world’s largest software providers side-by-side. Antivirusoffers.com.au is also the homepage of the ‘Help Stop Cybercrime’ Facebook group.

How are the products featured on this site selected?
The vast majority of products featured on this site are selected based on strict criteria, condensed into the following yes or no questions (yes would indicate a correct answer for inclusion):

  1. Is the software provider legitimate and well-known?
  2. Is the software suite a strong competitor among its peers?
  3. Does the company providing the product offer after-the-sale support?
  4. Is there an opportunity to earn a referral commission by facilitating the sale of the product?

As you can see, the selection process for a piece of software includes four factors; three components relate to the product and user, the last relates to the distributor.

What does it mean to facilitate a sale of the product?
Simply, if a referring link from this site results in a sale from the official software provider, a small commission is then paid. This commission serves as an incentive to continually evaluate product offerings, keep the information here up-to-date and relevant, and to help cover the costs associated with owning and operating a website.
